Yes, comfort is our "middle name." It is so easy to get caught-up in comfort--and to not even realize it...
Someone I love dearly just got diagnosed with breast cancer...Money is very tight...Tonight my husband and I were discussing how much/IF we could give. It is so easy to just say or think, "We really can't afford that; we're raising our own four children." That is seriously what I started thinking...
Then I began thinking, you know, we are comfortable...Most Americans are comfortable...It's so easy to say, "We can't afford that," when we have so much we take for granted and really, honestly, don't even need.
Your post confirms that heart tug I felt when discussing this need with my husband a few hours ago...
Thanks for sharing such a simple post! I needed it!
