Holy cow! What a day! Sounds like lots of great stuff, but still a lot! Hope you get a little down time this weekend!
ReplyDeleteBusy busy busy day! So glad you are choosing to make writing an important part of your day! Thanks for hosting...I'm having a blast!
ReplyDeleteWhat a long-busy-full-rich-inspiring-full-of-love-day! Lots of living and lots of possible slices and stories to share. I love how you used the times as bookends. Thanks for choosing to write in the midst of this full day!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe that when I got to lunch. . . that all that had happened before lunch! What a crazy, busy day! And you still found time to write!
ReplyDeleteI got it all ....loved...drive,drive,drive....
ReplyDeleteYou must have discovered the secret of stretching the day beyond 24 hours. You have fit work, chores, and play all in one day. From the words you have chosen I can see that it's mostly about people. I can imagine that you would wish the balance of writing and driving to be the other way round.
ReplyDeleteI love that you start at 4:46...it's when my alarm goes off...not 4:45 but 4;46...on purpose...I need that extra minute in bed - and I am sure you do too!
ReplyDeleteI love how this piece works and how driving frames many of the day's segments. I'm curious about the candle.
ReplyDeleteA full life stretched across the page. Love this! I hope Saturday gives you some time to sit back and savor.
ReplyDeleteProductive and fulfilling that is how your busy day reads to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, creative way to slice. It captures the rhythm of your day well.
ReplyDeleteHaving known you for awhile now, it is no surprise how much life you manage to pack into each day. What struck me while reading this is how much information you have to keep in the forefront of your mind within each day.
ReplyDeleteI often say things like, "I don't have brain space for that," to describe how overwhelmed I am. I imagine your brain space is a hot commodity. It is a good thing so many of the items on your list can find space to spread out in your heart space!
Umm....remind me that it's apparently not enough to have supported you in your switch to coffee from tea...you are obviously going to need more than one hit a day, and probably should consider a move to dark roast. :)
ReplyDeleteA full day indeed. Margaret tried it based on Elisabeth's version based on this poem. I love the chain and want to try this. Thanks, Ruth.
